Finally got the website up and running! If you see this by the time the website is completed, chances are draft 3 of "In Broad Daylight" will be getting edits wrapped up by my mother, Lysabella Barrett (aka Lysa Scealf). Once I go through and pick out the edits myself, the book should be complete and ready for pressing and or publish-hunting depending on the route I go for. That being said, my husband and I are in the process of going back to college for creative writing which could put a damper on the release date. You all will be the first to know!
I'm gonna try and keep personal updates out of this (aside from moving, pregnancy, etc.) and try to keep this focused on art, merchandise, convention and market schedules, and anything else related to the book, but not the book itself. At the time I'm writing this, I am working on reference sheets for all characters involved in "In Broad Daylight", side characters included. So far, Jiya Chandra is the only completed one and Salter is being worked on when I have time between the website and the book. Speaking of the devil, this website has been the biggest part of the entire project so far. Although I could use squarespace or wix or even neocities, if you know me, I usually try the hardest route first before adapting things to my comfort (i.e. no easy way for me when it comes to absolutely anything). I also want to keep the website as authentic as possible to the orginal visions of the early internet. Alas, here I am on Neocities. Updates will come as often as I can work on em.
